Just a reminder that the March Band Backer meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 2 at 7 PM in the MHS band room. Please join us for updates on our band programs.
Seniors and Senior Parents —
Please start gathering 8 to 10 pictures from birth to Senior year (digital format is HIGHLY preferred - scanned and on CD/flash drive or emailed to munsterbandbackers@yahoo.com) for the Spring Banquet Slide Show!! All senior pictures must be submitted by April 1 and all submitted media will be returned.
ALL Band members — WE NEED YOUR PICTURES from the 2009-10 Munster Mustang Band Year!! Please put them on a CD or flash drive labeled with your name, or email to munsterbandbackers@yahoo.com .
A picture/media collection box will be located in the band room, or submit to Ms Wedow/Mr. Valperts no later than April 15.

There will be a special parent meeting for all band students that will be attending the Spring Break Disney trip on THURSDAY, MARCH 4 at 6:30 PM in the LGI. Please plan on attending.
NOTE: Students will be required to bring full concert attire and their full marching uniform on the trip – Now is the time to relocate & check if concert items still fit (tux shirt/pants/button cover/cummerbund + black dress shoes for boys, concert dress for girls) and marching uniform components (black underarmor shirt, drillmasters, BLACK over the ankle SOCKS, gloves).

Munster Band Backers is sponsoring a Golf Outing to benefit our band programs at Centennial Park on Saturday, May 15, 2010!
Join us for a fun afternoon of golf and fellowship, with all proceeds to benefit the Munster Mustang Bands.

THANK YOU Munster Band parents and students as well as the MHS Administration and Maintenance staff for helping to host the ISSMA Solo and Ensemble competition this past weekend. We successfully hosted over 3000 students and parents from schools in Lake and Porter County on Saturday - and we all survived!!
We have received MANY complements on our friendly, helpful, and professional MHS and WWMS Band student judge assistants, runners, and guides - and equally as many compliments on our wonderful Munster Band parent volunteers.
Special Thanks to our Committee Chairs - we could not have done it without your smiling faces and AWESOME coordination skills!! HUGE THANKS to our Concessions Chairs (Teri Oesterle and Maureen Harangody), Judges Meals and Hospitality (Kay Drabenstot and Nancy Conger), and Volunteers (Kim Ballard and Ruth Yothment).
